In today’s hyper-connected world, digital transformation is no longer a choice - it’s a necessity. But transformation without trust is fragile. At TM One, we believe digital trust must be the foundation of every innovation, every partnership, and every service we deliver.
Just recently, Pn. Raja Azrina Raja Othman, TM’s Chief Information Security Officer delivered a compelling keynote at CyberDSA 2025, where she addressed regional leaders on the escalating complexity of cyber threats and the urgent need for ASEAN-wide collaboration. Her message resonated deeply: Digital trust is not a byproduct of transformation - it is its foundation.

Cyber Threats: Lessons from the Region

As highlighted in her CyberDSA address, recent incidents like BPFDoor malware, Salt Typhoon, and UNC3886 show that cyber threats are evolving—becoming more targeted, geopolitical, and complex. These attacks have impacted millions, infiltrated critical infrastructure, and exposed the vulnerabilities in our supply chains.
The takeaway? Security and privacy must be embedded by design. ASEAN’s interconnectedness means shared risks and shared responsibility. We must move from reactive defence to proactive resilience.

Security as a Business Enabler

Security is no longer a cost center—it’s a growth enabler. For the 97% of ASEAN businesses that are SMEs, cyber resilience is what allows them to scale confidently across borders.
At TM One, we’ve seen firsthand how secure platforms unlock opportunities—from smart services and cloud adoption to 5G rollouts. In the trust economy, security and data privacy are the currency of leadership.

The Digital Trust Value Chain

To truly lead in digital trust, we must strengthen the entire value chain:

Collaboration

Regional threat intelligence sharing, joint response capabilities, and public-private partnerships are essential. No one defends alone.

Technology Maturity

From Zero Trust to AI-driven SOCs, our defences must be predictive and adaptive.

Policy & Supply Chain Integrity

Secure procurement and vendor risk management must be strategic imperatives.
Let’s make cyber resilience our competitive advantage. Let’s build a region where security fuels innovation, and trust drives transformation.
At TM One, we’re committed to delivering secure-by-default solutions that empower businesses to grow, innovate, and earn digital trust.
We invite you to collaborate with us, because the future of ASEAN’s digital economy depends on how we build trust, together.
